Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
Movie and Book Reviews

The Disney film "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" was a well done approach to the book. Although all the characters did a fine job playing their parts, I think Lindsay Lohan portrayed her character, Lola Cep, incredibly. She has brought new meaning to the words "drama queen". I must admit I was a bit disappointed at the end to see that all ended well, unlike the book. In the book, Lola and Carla hardly end up being friends. Lola still looks like the liar, Stu Wolff doesn't show up to save the day and Sam ends up being nothing more than a friend. On the contrary in the movie, Stu Wolff shows up at the cast party which is located at the Santini residence and tells everyone that Lola was at his party, that Carla is the liar, then they have a dance and Lola even goes so far as to help Carla out of the fountain after she has fallen in, and yes, Sam and Lola end up being more than friends.

Perfect-Simple Plan : We chose this song because this is again, how Lola feels. She feels like she can't be perfect, that even she, Lola Cep may not be able to defeat the almighty Carla Santini.
